Creating is not producing.
It is remembering. Honoring. Transforming. Each object comes from a dialogue
between the hand, the material and memory.

The work as the trace
of a journey

Andrés Ismael Ordóñez works with copper, natural stones and wire.

His practice is shaped by years of moving across Latin America — from Mendoza to the Andes, from the Pacific coast to the Central American rainforest. The Andean worldview, a deep connection to the land, and the cycles of nature are integral to how he sees the world.

No series. No repetition.
Only the dialogue between the hand, the material and what remains of everything that was lived.

Materials
Copper — texture detail
Copper
He grew up among copper objects; in his family's kitchens it was part of everyday life. The familiar became a choice. Copper is alive: it changes, it patinates, it keeps the marks of time. Andrés never covers it with plating or coatings. That transformation is part of the piece.
Stones — texture detail
Stones
When he can, Andrés goes back to the source. He prefers the person who cuts, carves or polishes the stone — rather than a middleman. Argentina, Peru, Ecuador: the markets and workshops left encounters that weigh as much as the stones. It is not a rule. It is a direction.
Surgical steel — texture detail
Surgical steel
He learned to bend wire with alpaca silver: softer, cheaper, easy to find. Surgical steel came later, true to his path and to his wish to offer his clients the best. More durable. Safer. Closer to what matters.
Wire — Andrés in the Andes
Wire
For years Andrés created while traveling with his backpack. Carrying a welder and gas was impossible. So he developed a language made of wire — woven, coiled, knotted. The backpack became a workshop. Today he likes that creating is still possible with simple tools.

May each piece find
the place where it belongs

We don't want to be everywhere.

We’re looking for spaces where handmade craftsmanship, travel, nature, and imperfect beauty are already part of the atmosphere.

Boutiques, galleries, and creative projects that welcome people who value objects with soul, natural materials, and the stories time leaves behind.

Let's talk

We’d rather find one place deeply aligned with these values than many points of sale without a distinct identity.
